The requirements of this standard relate only to type testing. Recommendations for whole product testing or batch testing are identical to those given in Annex C of IEC 62031.

NOTE 1 Where in this standard the term “lamp(s)” is used, it is understood to stand for “self-ballasted LEDlamp(s)”, except where it is obviously assigned to other types of lamps.

NOTE 2 This standard includes
photobiological safety.

d) the marking clause was restructured and a table added to provide an informative overview;

e) the marking requirements for built-in LED modules were changed;

f) the entry for the marking with the working voltage was revised;

g) the provisions for terminals and heat management were revised;

h) Annex B was deleted;

i) information for luminaire design with regard to working voltage and water contact was introduced;

j) an abnormal temperature test was introduced.

Compliance with the emission and immunity requirements of this document is verified where it can be demonstrated that the equipment under test (EUT) meets the respective limits, during type tests in the measuring arrangement of this document.
