The contaminated site is ready for closure when site contaminant concentrations meet the agreed upon clean up level for the contaminated site for each media of concern and sampling and analysis procedures meet data quality objective (DQO).

This Malaysian Standard contains lists of equipment and sampling methods used in sampling of soils, sampling of waste piles and surface impoundments, sampling of tanks, sampling of buildings and equipment to confirm the clean up level(s) has/have been reached.

NOTE. Sampling of soil, waste piles and surface impoundments, tanks, building and equipments are given in Annex A, Annex B, Annex C and Annex D.
