ELECTRIC RICE COOKER FOR HOUSEHOLD USE - METHOD OF MEASURING THE PERFORMANCE

This Malaysian Standard deals with the performance of electric rice cookers, electric rice warmer and electric rice cookers/warmers of the maximum capacity not exceeding 3.6L and a rated power consumption between 400W to 2000W and mainly used for household. The maximum rated voltage does not exceeding 250 V.
This standard does not apply to:
a) Rice cooker with capacity less than 1.0L; and
b) Induction rice cooker.
NOTE: The rice cooker may also cook other food not only rice.
