This Malaysian Standard refers to mouthpiece assemblies for respiratory protective devices, except escape apparatus and diving apparatus. It specifies minimum requirements for mouthpiece assemblies for use as part of respiratory protective devices. Laboratory and practical performance tests are included for the assessment of compliance with the requirements.
