Electrical equipment for use in explosive atmospheres in tropical service conditions
This Malaysian Standard covers all equipment for use in explosive atmospheres at tropical conditions at the temperature range from 15 °C to 50 °C, subject to adverse conditions, including offshore conditions.
The purpose of this standard is to provide additional requirement to be taken into account for design, production and use of equipment installed in explosive atmospheres tropical service conditions.
NOTE. This standard is intended to be used in conjunction with MS IEC 60079 and/or IEC 60079 and ISO/IEC 80079 series.
