Protective helmets for children - Non-motorised vehicle environment (First revision)
This Malaysian Standard specifies requirements and test methods for helmets intended for use by children while pursuing activities in motor vehicle free environments which have proven risks of head injuries. Such activities include pedal cycling, skateboards, roller skates and non-motorised scooter.
This standard does not include usage of motorised vehicle and/or equipment. It does not cover high risk sport activities which includes but not limited to theme park activities, arcade, water related activities, rock climbing, flying fox, abseiling, ice hockey and skiing.
