Temporary construction site workers' amenities and accommodation - Code of practice
This Malaysian Standard specifies the minimum requirements for the temporary construction site workers' accommodation and amenities, encompassing the provision of amenities for workers engaged in construction works, or activities connected with construction work, including:
a) sanitary facilities (toilet, washing and drying);
b) cooking and dining facilities;
c) first aid and medical facilities;
d) leisure and social facilities (indoor and outdoor recreation);
e) interfaith facilities;
f) commercial amenities;
g) drinking water;
h) electricity;
i) gas/LPG (liquefied petroleum gas); and
j) storage for tools/personal belonging.
