MS 1535 : PART 1 : 2002
DOMESTIC GAS COOKING APPLIANCES FOR USE WITH LIQUEFIED PETROLEUM GASES : PART 1 : SPECIFICATION

This Malaysian Standard specifies the requirements for general indoor domestic gas cooking appliances using liquefied petroleum gases.The types of appliances covered by this standard are given in Table 1. This standard also covers specific construction requirements and specific test methods for the appliances. The general construction requirements and general test methods for the appliances are covered by MS 1535 : Part 2 : 2002 : and 1535 : Part 3 : 2002 respectively.
NOTE: MS 158 : 1998 prescribes the specification for liquefied petroleum gases.
1 The marked gas consumption means the gas volume that is consumed by the appliance when used under the condition where the gas consumption is maximum. This value is marked on the appliance.
2 The cooking burners shall exclude portable cooking burners.
3 The maximum rice cooking capacity means the maximum quantity (L) of rice that can be cooked at one time with a rice cooker. This value is marked on the appliance.
