ANIMAL AND VEGETABLE FATS AND OILS - PART 10 : DETERMINATION OF ACID VALUE AND ACIDITY (FIRST REVISION)

This Malaysian Standard specifies two methods (titrimetric and potentiometric) for the determination of free fatty acids in animal and vegetable fats and oils. The acids are expressed preferably.as the acid value or alternatively as acidity calculated conventionally.

The method is applicable to animal and vegetable fats and oils. It is not applicable to waxes.
