This Malaysian Standard specifies the minimum requirements for rubber tread compound for
retreading of pneumatic tyres for use of passenger cars and commercial vehicles.
The rubber tread compound specified in this standard covers those suitable for use in hot
(conventional) retreading (camelback, slab or stripwinding) process only
