Guidelines for disposal of laboratory chemical wastes (LCW)
This Malaysian Standard gives guidelines for managing disposal of laboratory chemical wastes (LCW) to be used by laboratory operators.
1.2 The standard covers the following aspects of laboratory chemical wastes:
a) management;
b) characterisation;
c) minimisation;
d) safety in handling;
e) storage and labelling;
f) LCW originating from spill or contamination; and
g) treatment and disposal.
