Code of practice on energy efficiency and conservation for industrial electrical equipment - Part 3: Motors
This Malaysian Standard describes guidance on the selection, commissioning, operation and maintenance of motors. It can be used for new or existing motor installations. Motors in the industrial sector in Malaysia consume as much as about 80 % of the sectors electrical energy. It therefore makes sense that higher efficiency in motors will result in substantial savings in energy and electricity costs.
