METHODS FOR DETERMINATION OF CRUDE PROTEIN IN FOODS AND FEEDS

This Malaysian Standard prescribes the Macro and Micro Kjeldahl methods for the determination of nitrogen content and specifies the factors used in converting nitrogen to crude protein for various foods and feeds. The Auto Kjeldahl method used should be according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
