PACKAGING – TRANSPORT OF DANGEROUS GOODS: PART 2: CLASSIFICATION: SUB-PART 4: CLASS 3 – FLAMMABLE LIQUIDS
This Malaysian Standard provides the introduction to the dangerous goods of Class 3 - Flammable liquids.
NOTES.
1. The word "flammable" has the same meaning as "inflammable".
2. The flash point of a flammable liquid may be altered by the presence of an impurity. The substances listed in Class 3 in the Dangerous Goods List in MS 1513: Part 3 shall generally be regarded as chemically pure. Since commercial products may contain added substances or impurities, flash points may vary, and this may have an effect on classification or determination of the packing group for the product. In the event of doubt regarding the classification or packing group of a substance, the flash point of the substance shall be determined experimentally.
