Eco-labelling criteria for biofibre polymer composite material - Construction application
This Malaysian Standard was developed to support the implementation of labelling for environmentally preferred products in Malaysia. It is noted that a need for environmental labelling service has been identified by Malaysian industry to respond to request from both domestic and foreign purchasers. The conformity to this Malaysian Standard will encourage the demand and supply of renewable and recyclable construction material that has improved environmental performance leading to less environmental burden. The aim of this Malaysian Standard in particular is to promote a product with the use of materials produced in a more sustainable manner and to reduce the use of hazardous substances and emissions of polluting substances.
