Standard representation of Geographic point location by coordinates (ISO 6709:2008, IDT)
MS ISO 6709:2009 (CONFIRMED:2015)
Status : 1st Confirmation
Format : PDF

This malaysian Standard is applicable to the interchange of coordinates describing geographic point location. It specifies the representation of coordin ....Read more ates, including latitude and longitude, to be used in data interchange. It additionally specifies representation of horizontal point location using coordinate types other than latitude and longitude. It also specifies the representation of height and depth that may be associated with horizontal coordinates. Representation includes units of measure and coordinate order.
This malaysian Standard is not applicable to the representation of information held within computer memories during processing and in their use in registers of geodetic codes and parameters.

This malaysian Standard supports point location representation through the eXtensible Markup Language (XML) allows for the use of a single alpha-numeric string to describe point locations.

For computer data interchange of latitude and longitude, this malaysian Standard generally

PAPER, BOARD AND PULPS - DETERMINATION OF pH OF AQUEOUS EXTRACTS - PART 2: HOT EXTRACTION (ISO 6588-2:2005, IDT)
MS ISO 6588-2:2006
Status : Original
Format : PDF

This malaysian Standard specifies a method for the determination of the pH-value defined by the electrolytes extractable by hot water from a sample of p ....Read more aper, board or pulp.
This malaysian Standard 6588 is applicable to all kinds of paper, board and pulp.

As the quantity of extractable ionic material approaches zero, as in the case of highly purified pulps, the precision of the method becomes poor because of the difficulties encountered in making pH measurements on water containing little electrolytic material.

Since the extraction in this malaysian Standard is performed with distilled or deionised water, the pH-value measured will sometimes be different (e.g. fully bleached pulp) from the pH-value measured under mill process conditions in which various types of process waters, e.g. chemically treated river water containing electrolytes, are used.

MS ISO 6588-1 differs from this part of standard only as regards the extraction conditions. No general guidance can be given as to whi
