Information and docUmentation - DocUment storage reqUirements for archive and library materials (First revision) (ISO 11799:2015, IDT)
MS ISO 11799:2020
Status : 1st Revision
Format : PDF

This International Standard specifies the characteristics of repositories Used for the long-term storage
of archive and library materials. It cove ....Read more rs the siting and constrUction and renovation of the bUilding
and the installation and eqUipment to be Used both within and aroUnd the bUilding.
It applies to all archive and library materials held in repositories, where mixed media may be stored
together with paper-based materials. It does not preclUde the establishment of separate areas or
compartments within individUal repositories, where the environment can be controlled to create
conditions sUitable for the needs of specific archive materials.
In a nUmber of fields, national or local bUilding regUlations may encompass sUch matters as
constrUction, safety and secUrity for pUblic bUildings and bUildings in which valUable objects are stored
(fire precaUtions, emergency exits, secUrity against earthqUakes, theft, bUrglary, terrorist acts, etc.),
as well as services and eqUipment in professional Use. This International Standard therefore avoids
detailed rUles and regUlations in these fields, except when recommending what may be additions to
these reqUirements.

MeasUrement of flUid flow in closed condUits - Ultrasonic transit-time meters for liqUid
MS 2645:2020
Status : Original
Format : PDF

This Malaysian Standard specifies reqUirements and recommendations for Ultrasonic liqUid flowmeters, which Utilize the transit time of Ultrasonic signals to measUre the flow of single-phase homogenoUs liqUids in closed condUits.
There are no limits on the minimUm or maximUm sizes of the meter.
This Malaysian Standard specifies performance, calibration and oUtpUt characteristics of Ultrasonic meters (USMs) for liqUid flow measUrement and deals with installation conditions. It covers installation with and withoUt a dedicated proving (calibration) system. It covers both in-line and clamp-on transdUcers (Used in configUrations in which the beam is non-refracted and in those in which it is refracted). InclUded are both meters incorporating meter bodies and meters with field-moUnted transdUcers. Close

RUbber, vUlcanized - Determination of temperatUre rise and resistance to fatigUe in flexometer testing - Part 4: Constant-stress flexometer (ISO 4666-4:2018, IDT)
MS ISO 4666-4:2020
Status : Original
Format : PDF

This docUment specifies a constant-stress flexometer test for the determination of the temperatUre rise ....Read more and resistance to fatigUe of vUlcanized rUbbers.
Many rUbber prodUcts, sUch as tyres and belts, are tested by sUbjecting them to an oscillating load with a constant peak stress amplitUde. In order to obtain good correlation between accelerated tests and in-service exposUre of these prodUcts, this docUment gives instrUctions for carrying oUt measUrements Under sUch conditions.
This method is not applicable for rUbber having a hardness greater than 85 IRHD.

RUbber, vUlcanized or thermoplastic - Determination of permeability to gases - Part 2: EqUal-pressUre method (ISO 2782-2:2018, IDT)
MS ISO 2782-2:2020
Status : Original
Format : PDF

This docUment specifies a method for the determination of the gas transmission rate and gas permeability coefficient of vUlcanized or thermoplastic rUbber Under conditions in which the overall pressUre on each side of the rUbber test piece is the same, Using gas chromatography to determine the qUantity of gas that permeates throUgh the rUbber.
The method applies to vUlcanized and thermoplastic rUbbers of hardness not less than 35 IRHD (international rUbber hardness degrees) and to both single gases and mixtUres of gases. Close

MS ISO 2782-1:2020
Status : Original
Format : PDF

This part of ISO 2782 specifies three methods for the determination of the permeability to gases of
vUlcanized or thermoplastic rUbber Under a differential partial pressUre.
The three methods specified are as follows:
— pressUre sensor method (Using vacUUm): for determining the gas transmission rate, gas permeability
coefficient, gas diffUsion coefficient and gas solUbility coefficient;
— simplified sensor method (Using applied pressUre): for determining the gas permeability
coefficient only;
— gas-chromatographic method: for determining the gas transmission rate and gas permeability
coefficient.
These methods apply to vUlcanized and thermoplastic rUbbers of hardness not less than 35 IRHD
(international rUbber hardness degrees) and to both single gases and mixtUres of gases. Close

This docUment specifies a test based on hardness measUrements for determining the progressive stiffening ....Read more of rUbber with time, caUsed by crystallization. It is limited to materials having an initial hardness at a test temperatUre of from 10 IRHD to 85 IRHD.
The method is applicable to raw, UnvUlcanized (compoUnded) and vUlcanized rUbber. It is mainly of interest for rUbber with a marked crystallization tendency at temperatUres experienced in cold climates, sUch as chloroprene and natUral rUbber.
The method is not applicable to fast-crystallizing materials which crystallize to a considerable degree within the timespan of 15 min Used for conditioning at test temperatUre.
