The requirements for preparing a construction solid waste management plan as well as data reporting to relevant authorities are also explained in this standard. However, the characterisation of construction solid waste conducted before the demolition activities (e.g. the decommissioning of M&E components) is not covered in this standard.

This standard covers only non-scheduled and non-radioactive construction solid wastes which are subject to Solid Waste and Public Cleansing Management Act (Act 672).
