This Malaysian Standard specifies the requirements for materials suitable for use as a radiant barrier and reflective insulation building materials in any of the following circumstances:

b) when installed either independently, or as a facing to other materials such as insulation materials; and
c) when installed in domestic, commercial or industrial buildings.

This standard does not apply to vapour barriers used under concrete slabs.

This standard is intended for use by manufacturers in producing adequate radiant barrier and reflective
insulation building materials and by end users to specify the correct grade of radiant barrier and reflective

This part of IEC 62196 applies to high power d.c. interfaces and combined a.c./d.c. interfaces of vehicle couplers specified in IEC 62196-1:2014, and intended for use in conductive charging systems for circuits specified in IEC 61851-1:2010, and IEC 61851-23:2014.

The d.c. vehicle connectors covered by this part of the standard are used only in charging mode 4, according to Case C in Clause 6.2 of IEC 61851-1:2010, Figure 3 in Clause 6.3.1 of IEC 61851-1:2010 and IEC 62196-2:2011.

The d.c. vehicle inlets covered by this part of the standard are used only in charging mode 4, according to Case C in Clause 6.2 of IEC 61851-1:2010, Figure 3 in Clause 6.3.1 of IEC 61851-1:2010.

These vehicle couplers are intended to be used for circuits similar to those specified in IEC 61851-23 which operate at different voltages and which may include ELV and communication signals.

This part of IEC 62196 applies to the vehicle couplers to be used in an ambient temperature of between –30 °C and +50 °C.

NOTE 1 In some countries, other requirements may apply.

NOTE 2 In the following country, –35 °C applies: SE.

These vehicle couplers are intended to be connected only to cables with copper or copperalloy conductors. Close

This part of IEC 62196 covers the basic interface accessories for vehicle supply as specified in IEC 62196-1, and intended for use in conductive charging systems for circuits specified in IEC 61851-1:2010.

NOTE 1 Electric road vehicles (EV) implies all road vehicles, including plug-in hybrid road vehicles (PHEV), that derive all or part of their energy from RESS.

These accessories are intended to be used for circuits specified in IEC 61851-1:2010 which
operate at different voltages and frequencies and which may include extra-low voltage (ELV) and communication signals.

These accessories may be used for bidirectional power transfer (under consideration).
This standard applies to accessories to be used in an ambient temperature between –30 °C and +50 °C.

NOTE 2 In the following country, other requirements regarding the lower temperature may apply: NO.

NOTE 3 In the following country, –35 °C applies: SE.

These accessories are intended to be connected only to cables with copper or copper-alloy conductors.

Vehicle inlet and vehicle connector to this standard are intended to be used for charging in modes 1, 2 and 3, cases B and C. The socket-outlets and plugs covered by this standard are intended to be used for charging mode 3 only, case A and B. The modes and permissible connections are specified in IEC 62196-1:2014. Close

These accessories and cable assemblies are intended to be used for circuits specified in IEC 61851-1 which operate at different voltages and frequencies and which may include extra-low voltage and communication signals.

These accessories and cable assemblies are to be used at an ambient temperature between –30 °C and +50 °C.

NOTE 1 In some countries, other requirements may apply.

These accessories are intended to be connected only to cables with copper or copper-alloy
conductors.

The accessories covered by this part of IEC 62196 are for use in certain modes of charging electric vehicles. These modes are defined in IEC 61851-1. These definitions and a description of the types of connection (cases A, B and C), are described in IEC 61851-1:2010, 6.2 and 6.3.1.

NOTE 3 In the following countries, mode 1 will not be allowed: UK, US, CA, SG.

This part of IEC 62196 does not apply to those standardised accessories used in charging systems where the use of such accessories constructed to the requirements of other standards is permitted (e.g. in mode 1 and mode 2). Such standardized accessories may be used for those situations (mode and case) identified in IEC 61851-1.

This part of IEC 62196 may be used as a guide for accessories with a lesser number of contacts and lower ratings for use with light duty vehicles. Close
