ROAD VEHICLES - AUTOMOTIVE MULTIMEDIA INTERFACE - PART 4: NETWORK PROTOCOL REQUIREMENTS FOR VEHICLE INTERFACE ACCESS (ISO 22902-4:2006, IDT)
MS ISO 22902-4:2010
Status : Withdrawal without replacement
Format : PDF

This Malaysian Standard provides a communication model that contains the requirements for a Vehicle Interface Protocol (VIP) to access a vehicle interface over a network transport protocol for AMI-C n ....Read more etwork. It does not apply to networks that have pre-existing protocols and messages for transporting vehicle functions.
A VIP defines how an application communicates over a simple network transport mechanism. These requirements can be applied to network technologies that use UDP/IP as the transport method. However, pre-existing systems may have unique protocols and messages for transporting messages about vehicle functions; therefore, this document does not cover such pre-existing technology. Messages transported are network-specific instantiations of the CMS. This document addresses the following aspects related to the AMI-C’s approach to network communication: ? message frame format; ? application transaction; ? system transaction; ? initialization process; ? address resolution; and ?

PAPER - DETERMINATION OF TRANMITTANCE BY DIFFUSE REFLECTANCE MEASUREMENT (ISO 22891:2007, IDT)
MS ISO 22891:2008
Status : Original
Format : PDF

This Malaysian Standard specifies a method for the calculation of transmittance based upon diffuse reflectance measurements.

The use of the method is restricted to white and near-white t ....Read more ranslucent papers (see 3.9). If it is necessary to determine the transmittance of papers which contain fluorescent whitening agents, the fluorescence emission is eliminated using the prescribed UV cut-off filter.

NOTE This means that, although this Malaysian Standard refers to ISO 2469 which permits the use of both filter colorimeters and abridged spectrophotometers, a filter colorimeter with no means of eliminating the emission of fluorescence is not suitable for this type of measurement if fluorescent whitening agents are present.

PULP AND PAPER - DETERMINATION OF THE EFFECTIVE RESIDUAL INK CONCENTRATION (ERIC NUMBER) BY INFRARED REFLECTANCE MEASUREMENT (ISO 22754:2008, IDT)
MS ISO 22754:2009 (CONFIRMED:2023)
Status : 2nd Confirmation
Format : PDF

This Malaysian Standard specifies a method for the determination of the effective residual ink concentration (ERIC number) by infrared reflectance measurement.

This Malaysian Standard ....Read more is applicable to all types of deinked, recycled pulp and to sheets of machine-made paper made from recycled pulp, where the residual ink is black. The method is applicable to materials available in sheet form only if the opacity at 950 nm is less than 97 %. The ERIC number obtained is dependent on the distribution of ink particle sizes, and the method is most effective for submicron particles. The value obtained is reliable only if the test material is uniform in ink distribution, formation, and grammage such that presenting different parts of the sheet to the measuring aperture of the reflectometer produces very similar readings.
