This Malaysian Standard specifies requirements for a paint, varnish and lacquer remover, commonly employed in scrape-off operations suitable for use on finished
and metal surfaces. The material may not, however, be suitable for use on some plastic surfaces.The material is intended to be applied tothe painted, varnished or lacquered surface by brushing and allowing to remain undisturbed until the paint, varnish or lacquer film has been softened.
