METHODS OF TEST FOR PALM OIL AND PALM OIL PRODUCTS : PART 8 : DETERMINATION OF TRIACYLGLYCEROL BY GAS CHROMATOGRAPHY : SECTION 1 : TRIACYLGLYCEROL COMPOSITION BY CARBON NUMBER
This Malaysian Standard specifies the gas chromatographic method for the determination of triacylglycerol. The method produces results as 'triacylglcerol composition by carbon number'. Triacylglycerols having the same carbon number cannot be separated and determined individually, nor can triacylglycerols having different degrees of unsaturation, but an identical carbon number.
The method is applicable to palm oil and palm oil products as well as other animal and vegetable oils and fats.
