Electric cable and wire - 600/1 000 (Um = 1 200) V polyethylene insulated aerial bundled cable
This Malaysian Standard specifies the construction, dimensions and test requirements of aerial bundled cable polyethylene insulated for operation at rated voltage up to 600/1 000 (1 200) V.
The cables as prescribed are generally used for low voltage, fixed installation system for overhead distribution network. It is not intended to be used as underground distribution network and for others specialised application (e.g. welding, crane lifting, mining) which are covered by other Malaysian Standards, where applicable.
