This Malaysian Standard was developed by the Working Group on Matches and Lighters under the authority of the Consumer Products, Personal Safety and Services Industry Standards Committee.
This Malaysian Standard is identical with ISO 9994:2002, Lighters – Safety specification, published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
