METHODS OF TEST FOR PAINTS AND VARNISHES PART D8: DETERMINATION OF HIDING POWER USING KUBELKA-MUNK METHOD FOR WHILE AND LIGHT-COLOURED PAINTS
This Malaysian Standard specifies a method to be used for determining hiding power (spreading rate necessary to give a contrast ratio of 98%) ofwhite or light-coloured paints. It is restricted to paint films having the tri-stimulus value of Y=70. It is not applicable to fluorescent or metallic paint.
