SPECIFICATION FOR STRAIGHT MINERAL LUBRICATING OILS (FIRST REVISION)
This Malaysian Standard specifies requirements for three levels of quality for straight mineral lubricating oils classified according to viscosity and viscosity index, as follows:
(a) Table 1 (grades TLS 10 to TLS 1500). Oils for total loss systems (TLS) with viscosities specified at one temperature only.
(b) Table 2A (grades CSA 15 to CSA1500). Oils for circulating systems (CS) with a minimum viscosity index (VI) of 35.
(c) Table 2B (grades CSB 10 to CSB 1000).Oils for circulating systems (CS) with a minimum viscosity index (VI) of 70.
