The adoption of the ISO Standard as a Malaysian Standard was recommended by the
Technical Committee on General Methods of Test for Plastics under the authority of the
Plastics and Plastics Products Industry Standards Committee.
This Malaysian Standard is the first revision of MS ISO 899-2.
This Malaysian Standard is identical with ISO 899-2:2003, Plastics – Determination of creep
behaviour – Part 2: Flexural creep by three-point loading, published by the International
Organization for Standardization (ISO).
