Specification for fire resistant doorsets - Part 3: Code of practice for installation of fire resistant doorsets
This Malaysian Standard specifies requirements for the installation of fire resistant doorsets used to protect openings in walls and partitions which are required to resist the passage of fire.
This standard also applies to transom panels over doors, where the panels are contained within the doorframe and form part of the fire resistant doorsets. This standard covers the installation procedures for door frames, door leaves as well as hardwares.
