1.2 This method provides a satisfactory means of determining the relative efficacy of
insecticidal aerosol formulations.
1.3 As a biological test, it is subject to the variation that accompanies the reactions of living
organisms. It should be employed under close supervision of personnel familiar with the
biological testing of insecticides.
1.4 In order to measure the effectiveness with reasonable tolerance, the test is run in
conjunction with standard insecticidal aerosol.
