Blooms/billets for hot rolled non-alloyed structural steel sections - Specification (First revision)
This Malaysian Standard specifies the requirements for rerolled and continuous cast blooms/billets used for hot rolling of structural steel sections:
a) Channels;
b) Angels;
c) H and I sections; and
d) H piles (except billets).
It covers the blooms/billets manufacturing method, chemical and physical tolerances, appearance, soundness and type of tests to be conducted.
