The adoption of the ASTM Standard as a Malaysian Standard was recommended by the Technical Committee on Petroleum Fuels under the authority of the Petroleum and Gas Industry Standards Committee.
This Malaysian Standard is identical to ASTM D 6079-04e1, Standard test method for evaluating lubricity of diesel fuels by the high-frequency reciprocating rig (HFRR), published by the ASTM International.
Compliance with a Malaysian Standard does not of itself confer immunity from legal obligations.
