Road vehicles - Determination of bead unseating resistance of a tubeless passenger car tyre (Second revision)
This Malaysian Standard covers the determination of force required to completely dislodge the bead of an inflated tubeless passenger car tyre from its rim as indicated by a loss of inflation pressure or a sudden drop in bead unseating force as exerted by a bead unseating block. This test requires utilization of a laboratory testing machine equipped with a slow-moving bead unseating block which has a curved contour with designated dimensions and shape.
