This Malaysian Standard provides the guidelines on the structural use of glued laminated timber in include recommendation on quality, grade stresses and modification factors applicable to this material when use as a simple member or as part of build-up components or as part of structure incorporating other materials. It also gives recommendation for design of mechanical and glued connections and it includes general advice on workmanship.
