Urban stormwater management - Part 7: Detention ponds
This Malaysian Standard specifies design and planning criteria for a detention pond facility. It specifies the various components of detention pond especially to deal with incoming stormwater peak flows as well as to protect them against the influx of sediment and floatables. This standard also covers the public safety and maintenance requirements. It specifies the stormwater quality pretreatment BMPs.
