STEEL PRODUCTS - DEFINITIONS AND CLASSIFICATION (ISO 6929:1987, IDT)
This Malaysian standard defines and classifies steel products according to
a) their stage of manufacture;
b) their shape and dimensions; and
c) their appearance.
Although the products are generally classified independently of their end uses or manufacturing processes, it has sometimes been necessary to make reference to these criteria.
