METHOD FOR DIP TEST FOR MOTOR VEHICLE PARTS (FIRST REVISION)
This Malaysian Standard specifies the methods of moisture resistance test and waterproof tests for motor vehicle components/parts except for the following purposes:
a) effect of weather resistance and/or corrosion resistance on motor vehicle
components/parts; and
b) examining water pressure, air tightness or leak irrespective of nozzle circumference, moisture, rain, spray condition of the components/parts.
The severity or class of test to which individual components are to be subjected shall be specified in the appropriate standard.
