The adoption of the ISO Standard as a Malaysian Standard was recommended by the Technical Committee on Anaesthetic/Respiratory and Electromechanical Devices under the authority of the Industry Standards Committee on Medical Devices and Facilities for Healthcare.
This Malaysian Standard is identical with ISO 10524-3:2005, Pressure regulators for use with medical gases - Part 3: Pressure regulators integrated with cylinder valves, published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
