Fresh wax apple (Syzygium samarangense) - Specification
This Malaysian Standards specifies requirements for the commercial varieties of wax apple or rose apple (Syzygium samarangense (syn. Eugenia javanica L., Eugenia samarangense)) of the Myrtaceae family. Locally known as jambu air to be supplied whole and fresh to the consumers. Wax apple for industrial processing is excluded.
