This Malaysian Standard specifies the quality requirements of drinking water intended for human consumption. This includes drinking water from all water supply systems and tank supplies. This standard also sets out the quality criteria for raw water appropriate for treatment prior to supply and the relevant guidelines for the protection of source, treatment and monitoring.
