Specification for safety glazing materials for motor vehicles - Part 2: Methods of test

This Malaysian Standard (MS) applies to:
a) Safety glazing materials for installation either as windscreens, or other panes or as partitions on motor vehicles of category L with bodywork, M, N, O, and T; and
b) Vehicles of categories M, N and O with regard to the installation of these materials.
This scope does not cover:
a) Glazing for lighting and light-signaling devices, instrument panels, special bullet-proof glazing and double-windows; and
b) Small plastic glazing that is not required for either the driver's forward or rearward field of vision.
This MS has to be used in conjunction with MS 595-1:2022, Specification for safety glazing materials for motor vehicles - Part 1: General requirements (Third revision).
