The adoption of the ISO Standard as a Malaysian Standard was recommended by the Technical Committee on Anaesthetic/Respiratory and Electromechanical Devices under the authority of the Industry Standards Committee on Medical Devices and Facilities for Healthcare.
This Malaysian Standard is identical with ISO 10524-1:2006, Pressure regulators for use with medical gases - Part 1: Pressure regulators and pressure regulators with flow-metering devices, published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
