This Malaysian Standard specifies minimum requirements, classification, packaging, labelling and sampling for the commercial varieties of guavas (Psidium guajava L., of the family Myrtaceae) locally known as "jambu batu".
It is applicable to guavas supplied whole and fresh to the consumers.
It is not applicable to Lo Han guava and guavas used for processing.
