Fire extinguishing installations and equipment - Part 2 : Wet and dry fire fighting mains
This Malaysian Standard gives recommendations for non-automatic firefighting systems in buildings. It covers good practice in matters affecting the design, installation, testing and maintenance of such systems including wet and dry firefighting mains.
This Malaysian Standard does not cover hose reels, foam inlets, automatic foam systems and portable firefighting equipment. These systems are covered in MS 1489: Part 1 and MS 1539.
