MS ISO 527-3:2001 (CONFIRMED:2012)
Plastics - Determination of tensile properties - Part 3 : Test conditions for films and sheets (ISO 527-3:1995, IDT)
This Malaysian Standard was developed by the Technical Committee on General Methods of Test for Plastics under the authority of the Plastics and Plastics Products Industry Standards Committee. This Malaysian Standard is identical with ISO 527-3 : 1995, ‘Plastics – Determination of tensile properties – Part 3: Test conditions for films and sheets’, published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), which has the same title. The text of the International Standard is recommended for publication as a Malaysian Standard without deviation. However, for the purpose of this Malaysian Standard, the following apply: a) in the source text, “this International Standard” should read “this Malaysian Standard”; and b) the comma which is used as a decimal sign (if any), to read as a full point. References to International Standards should be replaced by equivalent Malaysian Standards as follows: Referenced International Standard Corresponding Malaysian Standard ISO 527-1 : 1993, Plastics – Determination of tensile properties – Part 1: General principles MS ISO 527-1 : 1994, Plastics – Determination of tensile properties – Part 1: General principles ISO 4593 : 1993, Plastics – Film and sheeting – Determination of thickness by mechanical scanning MS 1339 : 1993, Method of test for plastics – Film and sheeting – Determination of thickness by mechanical scanning Appendix A of this Malaysian Standard is added for information only. This Malaysian Standard cancels and replaces MS 1152 : 1989, Method of test for tensile properties of plastics film. Compliance with a Malaysian Standard does not of itself confer immunity from legal obligations. NOTE. IDT on the front cover indicates an identical standard i.e. a standard where the technical content, structure, wording and presentation of a Malaysian Standard is exactly the same as in an International Standard or is identical in technical content and it may contain the minimal editorial changes specified in clause 4.2 of ISO/IEC Guide 21.
