Fresh starfruit (Averrhoa carambola L.) - Specification (Third revision)
This Malaysian Standard applies to commercial varieties of starfruit, Averrhoa starfruit L. of
the family Oxalidaceae, to be supplied whole and fresh to consumers. The fruit is also known
as carambola. Starfruit for industrial processing is excluded.
