The adoption of the EN Standard as a Malaysian Standard was recommended by the Technical Committee on Metallic Pipes and Fittings under the authority of the Industry Standards Committee on Mechanical Engineering.
This Malaysian Standard is identical with EN 10219-1:2006, Cold formed welded structural hollow sections of non-alloy and fine grain steels - Part 1: Technical delivery conditions, published by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN).
