Guidelines for power system steady state, transient stability and reliability studies
This Malaysian Standard is developed as a reference for power system engineers for a better understanding of the purposes and techniques involved in power system studies. The standard can also serve as a reference for engineering consultants in performing necessary studies prior to designing a new transmission system or expanding an existing power system. It is the intent of this standard to ensure high standards of power transmission system reliability and maximise the returns to power system investments. The guide emphasises on current techniques in system studies that are applicable and practiced in power system utilities. Where relevant, references are made to local practices and context.
