The adoption of the ISO Standard as a Malaysian Standard was recommended by the
Technical Committee on Pulp, Paper and Board under the authority of the Industry Standards
Committee on Chemical and Materials.
This Malaysian Standard is identical with ISO 216:2007, Writing paper and certain classes of
printed matter - Trimmed sizes - A and B series, and indication of machine direction,
published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
