The adoption of the ISO Standard as a Malaysian Standard was recommended by the
Technical Committee on Pulp, Paper and Board under the authority of the Industry Standards
Committee on Chemical and Materials.
This Malaysian Standard is identical with ISO 217:2008, Paper - Untrimmed sizes -
Designation and tolerances for primary and supplementary ranges, and indication of machine
direction, published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
