Multilayer unplasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-U) pipes for water supply and for buried and above ground drainage and sewerage under pressure application - Part 3: Fitness for purpose of the system
This part of the Malaysian Standard specifies the characteristics for the fitness for purpose of multilayer unplasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-U) piping systems intended for water supply and for buried and above-ground drainage and sewerage under pressure. It also specifies the test parameters for the test methods referred to in this part of MS 2713.
In conjunction with the MS 2713 series of standards, it is applicable to joints and assemblies with components of PVC-U, other plastics and non-plastics materials intended for use in the following:
a) water mains and services buried in the ground;
b) conveyance of water above ground for both outside and inside buildings; and
c) buried and above-ground and sewerage under pressure.
